I’ve been a loyal Google user since day 1. I’ve had a GMail account since day 1 and I absolutely love it and it works perfectly 100% of the time. Heck, I even have a pretty sweet GMail address — just my last name.
Tonight I setup Google Apps for Domains for swiftblue.com (my company Swift Blue, LLC) and I’m not able to use the GMail application for my other email address of david at swiftblue dot com and now I have a dilemma. Do I notify everyone that I’m now going to be using my swiftblue email address and forward all my mail from my GMail address to that one? Or do I just keep doing what I’ve been doing and using 2 email addresses?
I know what you’re thinking, I probably use one for personal and one for business. You’re wrong. I use my GMail address for a mixture since I prefer the interface to Outlook’s and I rarely use my swiftblue address but I’d like to have a more ‘business’ like email address rather then sending other business folk my free GMail account — which in my opinion doesn’t breed trust from the start.
So I think I’m going to make the switch and ditch my beloved GMail email address in favor for using david at swiftblue dot com as my default email. Tough choices ahead.

I don’t know Jakob and I’ve only had a few email correspondences with him, but I’m going to miss reading his blog.
As of yesterday he said that he’s done for a while, something about not liking the attention it’s getting him or something, regardless. His blog is the only blog I would visit daily and read — every other blog I read in a feed reader. I don’t know if that means anything but I appreciated his work there.
He’s right though about making his private life public. I feel like I was with him through his trials and tribulations over the past year and I think the reason why I continued to read his blog was maybe the same reason people watch reality TV.
For my enjoyment I hope he continues to blog, and if his past actions mean anything then he will. If I recall he stopped using email for a little bit but soon rejoined the internet population in sending electronic parcels (see what I mean about being like reality TV?). So hopefully this is just another phase that will soon pass.

I decided it was time to start creating some RSS feeds for MoFuse and I’m starting off with MoFuse Grow. The MoFuse Grow RSS feed will show the 30 latest mobile sites grown via MoFuse Grow.
This is a cool new feature for people who are looking to discover new mobile content.
You can get the RSS feed here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/mfgrow
And of course, you can get the mobile version here: http://grow.mofuse.mobi

I remember when CNN.com used to be a source for actual substantial news. But ever since they redesigned their homepage it seems they forgot to include the real news.
I just went to cnn.com to see if I could read some stories other than the election. Maybe some news from Baghdad or from Chad. There is a lot going on in the world and CNN is the name in news so why wouldn’t I go there?
Well, CNN has become nothing short of a tabloid only posting sensationalized headlines and stories on their frontpage, no actual news. This screenshot was the last straw:

Pics show baby tossed from flames — not top story
Friend to turn on ex-copy at murder trial — how is this worthy of NATIONAL news
Death Row inmate commits suicide — You’re kidding me right? News here?
Cops: Dad admits stomping baby to death — Sensationalized headline…
Robbers rush store, shoot clerk on tap — Put this in your VIDEOS section, this is NOT the 5th most important news story!
I’m officially done with CNN.com until they decide to report the news.
